Student Drop-Off/Pick Up

 

 

For the safety of all students, please follow the designated route and rules for arrival and dismissal.

Drop-Off & Pick-Up Driving Route

1. Approach: From SW Spring Garden St., turn North onto SW 14th Ave. (Do not turn North onto SW 17th Ave.)
2. Continue North: Drive past SW Carson St. Please keep SW Carson St. clear for walking students and families.
3. Turn Left: Head west onto SW Hume Ct.
4. Arrive: Turn left onto SW 17th Ave. You are now directly in front of the school.
5. Exit: After drop-off, exercise extra caution when turning onto SW Spring Garden St. Always yield to pedestrians.

Important Safety Rules

• Right-Side Drop-Off Only: Always drop off students on the right side of the street. Dropping off on the left (east) side puts students in danger and encourages jaywalking.
• Respect "No Parking" Zones: Do not drop off or park between "No Parking" signs. Blocking the crosswalk visibility puts walking families at risk.
• Pedestrian Tip: If walking, try to cross streets in groups. Larger groups are significantly more visible to drivers.

Parent & Visitor Parking

• Visitor parking is available in the main parking lot.
• All parents and visitors must enter through the front entryway.
• Designated ADA accessible spaces are located on SW 17th Ave.

Dismissal & Student Pick-Up Locations

• Grades K–2: Outside their exterior classroom doors.
• Grades 3–4: In the parking lot near the stairs.
• Grade 5: NE corner of the building, near the parking lot.
